FinFam is a platform designed to enhance collaborative financial planning by bringing together friends, family, and experts with the assistance of AI. As an engineer and product lover, I wanted something that looked like Notion, and worked like the App Store meets GitHub, for financial planning. It’s a collaborative platform where friends and family can answer money questions and drive life decisions, augmented by structured expert input and AI assistance. SuPPort is an event-driven server framework designed for building scalable and maintainable services and clients. It's a distillation of the Python Infrastructure used at eBay and PayPal to host a wide range of services for dozens of teams, and has served billions of production requests (as of 2015). It took a fair bit of effort to open-source, everything from major refactoring and cleaning git history to conferring with legal/branding and designing a logo.
