Our mission is to celebrate the mobile industry by showcasing incredible mobile apps. We are designers, makers and users ourselves. As such, we recognize that great apps go beyond interface design. The awards aim to recognize mobile apps whose experience is exceptional in every way – Design, Animation, Content, Onboarding and more.

Twice a year, we are open for companies around the world to submit their apps and show us their best. The first Mobile UX Awards take place July 2017. We also recognize apps with a special mention every week with our App of the Week Award.

Mobile Game Designer

In this role, I directed the conceptual development and execution of HTML and Flash-based projects for the company’s award-winning websites and web-based games. I also rebranded the TreehouseTV website and TreehouseTV Parents as Lead Designer.

Senior Interactive Designer

In this position, I researched and developed a sophisticated visual market research product “Market Research Cloud (MRC)” with effective collaboration with developers, CEO, Product Lead, Platform Lead, CTO, and Marketing Lead. I also created two brand new iOS app products.

Senior UI/UX Lead

I quickly earned a promotion from Senior UX/UI Designer to Business Development Manager of Web/UI/UX. My key accomplishments in this position include: 

● Redesigned complex e-commerce software used by high-profile clients (Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Rona, Costco, Wal-Mart); provided users with instant access to multiple contractors, software providers, property management companies, facilities maintenance departments, builders, management companies, and consumers.

● Utilized extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies to successfully complete projects on time.


Business Development Manager of Web/UI/UX

In this position, I screen and evaluate candidates to become part of the top 3% global freelancers specializing in UI/UX, UX Research and IxD for clients worldwide. I also develop Toptal portfolios for candidates to showcase their skills.

UX Designer & Design Screener

I excelled as the lead on the MobileFirst Apple + IBM exclusive partnership to transform the enterprise mobility through a new class of business applications—enabling IBM’s big data and analytics capabilities on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Apple + IBM:  Lead iOS Mobile User Experience Designer

I championed the design, strategy, and vision for a graduate student engagement app—I designed the keynote files, and shareholder and investor documents. I also led user research at local universities to uncover more about student needs and behaviors. 

Product Designer

In this role, I initiate security and authentication solutions (using Blockchain technology) for prominent major banking institutions including TD, Royal Bank, and Scotiabank. My additional top contributions include: 

• Head product design for an innovative Blockchain-based digital identity application:  Verified.Me; partnered with all major banks in Canada (BMO, CIBC, Desjardins, RBC, Scotiabank, TD, and National Bank) as well as IBM, Hyperledger, and Intel.

• Forge effective collaboration with the government of Canada on the redesign of Securekey Concierge.

In this position, I utilized broad-based elements of User Experience Design (user research, user interface design, information architecture, and heuristic evaluation) to create desktop and responsible mobile experiences for diverse clients.
