The Commons is a skills-based mentorship community that teaches top talent the skills and industry fundamentals used by strategy & operations teams at high-growth tech companies. It is an experiential learning program focused on creating relationships, and improving both hard and soft skills through a capstone project, mentoring, and e-learning. Mentors work in BizOps, Product, and Strategy at companies such as Uber, DoorDash, Shopify, Google & LinkedIn. Highlights include:

• Intermediate-level use of SQL, Excel/Sheets and BI/data visualization tools including Google BigQuery, Redash, and Tableau

• Worked on an intensive data analysis project alongside a team with coaching from my mentor, culminating in presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders

• Built models for market performance utilizing time series analysis and other techniques

• In-depth understanding of tech business models including key metrics (e.g. SaaS or marketplace metrics)

• Increased our MRR by 50% and eNPS by 20% in 6-months by creating a program for the leadership team to revamp our core purpose, culture, values, and customer/employee experience.

• Achieved a 9% increase in operating profit margin, leading to an additional $3M in annual revenue, through the rollout of the Product Trio, a collaborative approach that addressed silos within cross-functional teams.

• Boosted eNPS by 20% and new deal size by 50% through implementing a lead evaluation system for the sales team.

• Set annual and quarterly goals for the Executives, Operations, People, and Project Management departments.

• Successfully grew MVP user base by 500% by creating and implementing targeted marketing campaigns in collaboration with a consultant.

• Secured $300K in seed funding by leading a cross-functional team through a successful pilot program, which received 90% user satisfaction.
