As a product designer at Project 404, I was responsible for working closely with the development team to design and implement features that would improve the user experience of the android operating system.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was optimising the operating system to run smoothly on older devices. I spent a lot of time researching the different hardware configurations of these devices to ensure that our design decisions were optimised for performance and usability.

Another important aspect of my role was collaborating with other designers and developers to ensure that our design decisions were consistent across the entire operating system. This involved participating in design reviews, providing feedback on other team member's designs, and working closely with the development team to ensure that our designs were properly implemented.

I was able to contribute to a community-driven effort to improve the Android ecosystem, while also learning new skills and collaborating.
