MEng Electrical and Electronics Engineering

· Introduced to a new project in Doha that consists of a four-floor hotel, nine-floor apartment complex and an indoor amusement park. Been provided with the drawings for each level separately which had to be inspected in detail in order to be familiarized with the electrical circuitry of the building. · Worked alongside Electrical Engineers on the site regarding the electrical cables and trays, seeing how the project is put into practice. · Used CAD and Microsoft Project to inspect the designs of each floor and to amend the Gantt charts with respect to the progress of the project which has enhanced management, team work and communication skills.

Electrical Engineering Intern

· Learned CAD and worked on the software for the construction and used Microsoft Project in the management of the Metro line project. · Provided a report on the development of every Electrical and Mechanical Rooms in the Metro Station. Inspected the rooms and supervised the ongoing process of the workers, then submitted the report to the Electrical engineer supervisor. · The report included a Gantt Chart of the progress done throughout the internship, an explanation of the delay and solutions to the errors made by the man labour.

•	Led a design project to create a test rig for ASL, Automatic Sectionalising Link. Used circuit analysis to develop an innovative way of a safety mechanism which was used in the final prototype design. •	Self-taught the operation of 3D printers, their software, materials, and settings needed for printing fuse and circuit breaker prototypes. SolidWorks was used to model these products as well as the Ultimaker S5 printer to print them. •	Performed voltage and current tests on fuses and circuit breakers allowed for developing of an updated step-by-step work instruction manual for fuse testing rigs in the lab for future engineers’ inductions and reference.

Electrical Engineer

Received training to work behind a till therefore, developing hospitality skills. Simultaneously, working in this environment has provided the ability of presenting the products to customers and care for the well being and comfort of the customer. · Acquired leadership qualities by working in a team; started working there recently yet excelled in a very short period of time.  Adapting easily to the job environment and responsibilities has proven to be useful, as hundreds of pounds are being dealt with each shift, enhancing money handling skills.

Hospitality

•	Allocated in teams of students from across the STEM spectrum with the aim of building a sub-orbital satellite that will transmit the data that it gathers towards a device on earth. The machine will be signed up for the UK CANSAT Competition sponsored by AIRBUS, MACE and BAE Systems. •	Developed an ARDUINO code integrating pressure, temperature, humidity, accelerometer, and GPS sensors with a Bluetooth module to stream data from the satellite to ground station in real-time. •	Modules applied in this project range from FDM 3D Printing and CAD design to Machine Learning and Object-Oriented Programming.
