Built and launched Invoqk, an AI invoicing platform for freelancers and small businesses, as a solo founder and developer.
- Designed and shipped the full product on Next.js (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Prisma and Tailwind.
- Integrated Anthropic Claude to turn plain-English prompts, emails and PDFs into structured invoices.
- Implemented e-invoicing (Factur-X, XRechnung, UBL) with validation against EU and UK rules.
- Built payment reminders, recurring invoices, late fees, payment reconciliation and DATEV/CSV export.
- Shipped a public REST API with an OpenAPI spec, plus an MCP server so AI assistants can manage invoices.
- Added billing, two-factor auth, rate limiting, bot protection and multilingual support.
- Grew organic traffic with an SEO blog on Making Tax Digital, UK payment terms and German late payment interest.
- Cut Vercel Fast Origin Transfer costs by optimizing caching on the blog and comments endpoints.
