Problem: Server got crashed after updating the OS to newly released version. Approach: We looked into the server, debugged if there are some newly un-compatible software installed or if some of settings needs to changed. After hours of debugging and looking to the log files we reached to a solution and the server is up now.

(centOS, Server management) Server Debugging 

Designed and developed a website from scratch which is used by an agency to provide online booking of hotels, restaurants and lodges. In this website the admin can create sub-admins (sub-agencies) who can add hotels, restaurants and lodges. A user can search them based on the location or within a certain mile range. They can then book for a particular date with optional extra facilities like wifi etc. Authorization was implemented to manage different users types, payment gateway has been added for processing of payments, WKHTMLTOPDF has been added for generating invoice slips. Also, video players has been added to preview the hotels before booking. Technology used: cakePHP, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, paypal, WKHTMLTOPDF, video.js, LAMP.

(Custom web application) Hotel booking/reserv

Implemented a large/complex system from scratch which helps the company to manage services for equipment such as cranes, lifting chains for all of its customers and also keeps log of services provided. Created different kind of reports for each of the different equipment types, and based upon the report the next inspection dates were decided. WKHTMLTOPDF was make to convert report into PDF format and allow download. Implemented ACL to manage the different user types and access. Technology used: Laravel 4.0, PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, Twitter Bootstrap, JSON, MySQL, SVN, WKHTMLTOPDF.

(Custom web application) Service Management a

Designed and developed the web application from scratch. This application is being used by different organizations to manage all their members, public updates, member registration, projects, and programs updates. SMS api’s and payment gateway has been used for OTP while registration. Social media share has also been integrated to allow quick share of contents published. Technology used: CodeIgniter, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, SMS api’s, paypal, facebook and twitter SDK, bitbucket, LAMP.

(Customized CMS) Organization updates managem

Integrated barcode system to a mobile website. Barcode is a machine-readable representation of data, which can be easily read by a barcode reader. We have integrated barcode system in mobile website through which the barcode can be read by taking an image of barcode from mobile’s camera. This helps in saving the time for entering the codes manually. Technology used: PHP, HTML5, Twitter Bootstrap, barcode js.

(Plugin integration) Barcode Integration

Designed and developed the web application from scratch. This application helps business school students learn about real world business concepts in the form of interactive game. Students can form teams among themselves and compete, professors has full control to change rounds of the game. Changing the round does some events with calculated probability. As the game involved virtual money and multiple countries so multi-currency has also been implemented. Authorization system has been used to create different user types like admin, professors, teams. HTML5 Canvas and custom bootstrap has been used to make the game interactive and user-friendly. Technology used: Laravel, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, accounting.js, HTML5, bitbucket, LAMP.

Designed and developed a web-shop for a readymade garment shop. In this the admin can manage products, products variations according to color/size/pattern/prints/brands, manage order and its status, manage discount coupons, gift cards, add products to sale section and new arrivals, shipping management, SMS and email notifications. A user can purchase product with a login or also as a guest user, they can search products based on all variations, apply coupon codes, online payment or cash on delivery, track there order status, return products within certain duration. Upselling and cross-selling was also implemented. Technology used: PHP, magento, paypal integration, sms apis, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap

(WebShop / e-commerce, Magento) Readymade gar

Integrated wooCommerce to a social media websites built using cakePHP. In the social media application whenever a user performs some activity like sharing of photos, videos, updating status, comment, liking they get some points. This points helps them to get products at discounted price from the shop section of website. So, we added wooCommerce and modified it to allow auto-login from social app, and let user purchase at discounted prices as per there activity. Added coupon and gift card functionality to a course training plugin. Admin can generate gift card and coupon in default format or can also provide a format to generate the numbers. These numbers had use limits, date expiry limits and some value associated with it. Multiple gift cards can be added while registration of a course. AJAX based checking of gift cards and coupon were done. Technology used: PHP, WordPress, jQuery, AJAX.

(WordPress plugin modification) Discount coup

Developed a wordpress plugin which works in parallel to formidable forms pro plugin. The wordpress website already had many search form built using formidable forms, we designed a plugin which will show the search data in chart format. Several options like grouping of data, data ranges (like today, this week, this month, this year, custom data ranges), categories were also added to it. Options for short-code were also added, which help in putting the chart at any place in website. Clicking on any region of chart also displayed drill-down chart and details of that region. Technology used: PHP, WordPress, google chart api, Javascript, jQuery.
