The role of the Alternate NYC Senator in the NYU Abu Dhabi Student Government is vital for ensuring consistent representation of NYU Abu Dhabi within NYU's shared governance bodies in New York City. 

My responsibilities included:

Stepping in for the primary NYC Senator when they are unavailable, attending important meetings, advocating for NYUAD student interests, and ensuring that the concerns of the Abu Dhabi campus are communicated and addressed at the NYC level.
Representing NYUAD students within the larger NYU Global Network, specifically in relation to NYU New York (NYC campus).
Helping to maintain strong connections between NYUAD and the broader NYU community, fostering collaboration and understanding across campuses.

• Conducted multi-site research on the testing and commissioning of RS17 Trains across 4+ offices.
• Analyzed the DfQ V-cycle, gate reviews, and system validation & verification checkpoints.
• Acquired exposure to OT cybersecurity models, including network segmentation and IEC 62443 compliance.
• Reviewed commissioning workflows and diagnostics to assess rollout efficiency.

PrM & Cybersecurity Internship

Lead a crowdfunding campaign which generated over 1200 USD.
Managed social media, with daily postings on instagram and facebook over 2 months.

The funds generated were allocated to child education and nutrition in rural areas most affected by COVID-19.

As part of the Junior Year Experience Committee, I take part in organising events, maintaining student engagement, and creating awareness and access to academic and career development opportunities at NYU Abu Dhabi. 

Moreover, the JYX focuses on advocacy to improve and safeguard students’ interests among juniors, thus bridging the gap between university administrators and undergraduates.

I joined a temporary role as Jai Balajee’s analyst intern. I was a general-purpose assistant, including HR, Sales, Software, and AI. 

As an HR assistant, I helped expand the working team, developed plans for future hiring, and made interview questionnaires for several professional fields including developing a tech team, a sales and marketing team, and a hierarchy structure for easier control as the company expands. 

- Managed Facebook ads and WhatsApp shoots as the digital marketing assistant.
 
- Worked with the sales and back-office team to shortlist sales and ERM software to improve the workflow and efficiency of employees within the company. 

I also acquired an opportunity to work with AI to improve the website, generate new logos for upcoming products, and teach the staff what these tools can do.

As a young student, I had the opportunity to intern at The Climate Reality Project head office in New Delhi. Under the mentorship of South Asia head Aditya Pundir, I developed a strong foundation in climate change mitigation, modern day risks and awareness initiatives.

This included making elaborate presentations, learning ways to create awareness, creating gamified modules that could one day help youngsters be more aware of their carbon footprints, and much more. 

This was also the first office setting I worked in, which instilled an understanding of work dynamics that I leverage as a very real skillset in modern day careers.
