BalancerX is a lightweight load balancer written in Go, supporting both HTTP and TCP. It features round-robin and random balancing strategies, active health checks, and structured logging. Benchmarked at ~11-12k requests/sec with minimal latency, BalancerX is packaged as a .deb for easy deployment on Debian/Ubuntu systems.

Built a web platform with Perl (Mojolicious) to simplify Shorewall firewall administration. Provides a secure UI for rule management, NAT configuration, real-time monitoring, and logging. Integrated CouchDB for configuration storage and added RESTful APIs for automation. Eliminates manual config editing while maintaining strong security and audit trails.
