Internship Trainee

In this internship I focused on Active Directory security and enterprise cyber defense. During the internship, I built and configured a full Active Directory lab environment from scratch, including domain controllers, DNS, Group Policy, and domain-joined clients. I performed in-depth AD enumeration and executed real-world attack techniques such as LLMNR/NetBIOS poisoning, SMB relay, Kerberoasting, IPv6 DNS takeover (mitm6), DCSync, Golden Ticket, and DCShadow attacks to understand how domain compromises occur in real environments. On the defensive side, I deployed and configured Sysmon with advanced logging, analyzed Windows Event Logs, detected suspicious PowerShell execution, lateral movement, registry modifications, and implemented basic log forwarding and incident triage. This internship strengthened my practical understanding of Active Directory attacks, detection engineering, and blue-team mitigation strategies, bridging the gap between offensive security and defensive monitoring
