Head of Marketing

Student Mentor Programme, (SMP) is a programme within the IIT Bombay Student Community, with the primary objective of enabling constructive and positive interaction, guidance and mentorship of junior students by senior students.

* Nominated by the Dean of Academic Programmes and confirmed by the IIT Bombay Senate (highest policy making body) to serve as the highest student representative
* Handpicked and led a team of 250 senior students to mentor the freshman batch and to counsel 1000+ students
* Mentored 24 students over 2 years, addressing concerns ranging from academics issues to adjustment issues

Among initiatives,
* Developed the first ever online forum by compiling information of UG programmes at IIT Bombay for new entrants, 10K sessions in 2 days, featured in the national newspaper ‘Hindustan Times’
* Pioneered a formal training program to hone mentoring abilities of mentors

* Drove app discoverability on Playstore/Appstore for Toppr's 3 customer facing apps, 100K visitors/month. Target - 500K visitors/month

* Transformed the informal segment into a zero cost vertical, by roping in corporate participation
* Spearheaded the largest national level open quiz held in 7 metropolitan cities; attracted 1200 teams from India
* Initiated the first of its kind student Indo-Pak Peace Summit ‘Ummeed-e-Milaap’, contingent of 20 Pakistani students came to India and participated in various competitions

* Launched a Toppr School Fellowship Program with central marketing team to drive school activities for quality lead generation resulting in 2X conversion rates on those leads

Worked on constitutional flow processes of Austenitic Stainless Steels and analysing the various internal effects on flow stress behavior
Also worked on a MATLAB code to determine unknown constants in a non linear model of flow stress
