Distill transforms influential books into structured, ~10-minute reading experiences designed to preserve the ideas that matter—not just shorten the text. Follow each book's central argument, understand how its ideas connect, and explore a dedicated reflection that takes your thinking further. Discover a curated library spanning philosophy, psychology, business, systems thinking, and literature.Read less noise. Understand more clearly. We built Distill with the sole purpose of making quality knowledge accessible to everyone. We've always been fascinated by the ideas inside great books—but there's a practical problem: there are far more books worth exploring than there is time to read them all. What is Distill?Distill transforms influential books into structured, approximately 10-minute reading experiences. But we didn't want to build just another book-summary app.We believe that distillation should be about more than making books shorter. It's about preserving the central arguments, important ideas, connections, and nuances that make a book worth exploring in the first place. That's why every distillation includes two distinct sections:📖 Distilled Summary — A structured reading experience that follows the central argument and development of a book's ideas.🧠 Reflection — A separate section that explores the ideas further, helping you analyze, process, and make sense of what you've just read. It also provides a consistent companion voice across the library, giving you something familiar to return to as you encounter new ideas. We offer you a quiet, ever growing library of world class summaries, written to a very high literary standard, carefully engineered, to maximize understanding and retention in just 10 minutes, and that too for a fraction of the price that you'd get normally in the market.Distill helps you explore the ideas behind great books through carefully distilled summaries designed for clarity, depth, and focused reading.Instead of endless feeds, notifications, and gamification, Distill offers a calm reading experience built around one thing: understanding. We take summaries very seriously and all of our summaries go through rigorous internal quality gates before ending up on the platform. We don't see Distill as a replacement for books. If a distillation introduces you to an idea or author you love, we hope it encourages you to explore the complete work.
What you can do with Distill
📚 Explore our ever growing library of hand curated distillations. Discover ideas across business, philosophy, psychology, self-help, fiction, and systems thinking.⏱️ Get to the core in about 10 minutes Explore the central arguments and important ideas of a book in a focused reading session.🧠 Learn for understanding, not just consumption Move beyond isolated quotes and surface-level takeaways to engage with the ideas that make a book worth reading.📖 Build a reading habit at your own pace Read without the pressure of streaks, noisy notifications, or an endless content feed.
Why we built Distill
We love the ideas found in great books. But we also know how difficult it can be to find time for everything we want to read.We wanted to build something different: a thoughtful reading product that respects your time without treating learning as a race.Distill is our attempt to make meaningful ideas more accessible—one book at a time.
Who is Distill for?

Curious people who want to explore more books.

Professionals looking to learn alongside a busy schedule.

Readers interested in psychology, philosophy, business, and human nature.

Anyone who wants to spend less time searching for what to read and more time engaging with worthwhile ideas.

We're still building, and this launch is an opportunity to learn from people who care about reading, learning, and thoughtful product design.I'd genuinely love your feedback:

What makes a book summary genuinely valuable to you?

Do you prefer concise summaries, deeper explanations, or a combination of both?

What would make you return to a reading app regularly?

Thanks for checking out Distill. I hope it helps you discover an idea that stays with you.Less noise. More understanding.Welcome to Distill.

Mr. WorldWide is a discord language translation bot. This bot can be used to translate between languages on a discord server, quickly and easily. The discord bot has been written in JavaScript and Node.js using the discord.js node module. I initially built this bot for me and my friends to practice a new language that we were learning, but I also realized that this could be a great tool for people from different countries to communicate with each other efficiently and quickly on any discord server, which was also one of my motivations behind Mr. WorldWide.
