The Business for a Better World Case Competition is a partnership between Corporate Knights, the company for clean capitalism, and the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.

The competition required student teams to apply 12 of the most widely disclosed and tracked sustainability indicators to a specific case, making the contest unique among the world’s responsible business competitions. 
We were challenged to identify priority social, environmental and governance metrics for the case company and improve its performance (relative to industry peers) on the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, an annual benchmark ranking that has been produced by Corporate Knights since 2005.

Better World Case Competition

Cesim Global Challenge is a simulated business environment, ie. a strategy game. Participating with my team in the Crisis Scenario, my duty was the marketing analysis. Finally our company could increase its Share price and finished the game with the highest market share, and the highest level of cash among the competing 6 companies.

Migrate company’s current partners and customers to new strategy and make a shift from being a hardware and software company to being a devices and services company withing the product of Office 365.

Chanel Development and Communication Strategy for Microsoft 

A US$1.4 billion facility manufacturing 25,000 barrels / day of base oil, the main ingredient in the production of top-tier motor oil for Chevron, one of the world's leading integrated energy companies.

Worked as engineer in the Civil and Structure group. Responsibilities included:
- analysis, design, preparation of reports, 
- safety and quality review
- inter-discipline and inter-office coordination
- resolving queries from site

Chevron Pascagoula Base Oil Project, Mississippi, USA

Our objective was to make a fair estimate of the market value of 100.00% of SABMiller Plc as
part of our course, Company Valuation. SABMiller is one of the world's leading brewers with
more than 200 beer brands and some 70,000 employees in over 75 countries across Africa,
Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
Two separate methods were utilized for the valuation of SABMiller plc. First method utilized is
discounted cash flow (DCF), taking the projected cash flows over the future years, growing them
as perpetuity after 2018, and then discounting the amount back to present value using weighted
average cost of capital (WACC). The second method used relative valuation, which involved
taking similar companies and comparing the ratio of key measures, such as revenues and
EBITDA.

Company Valuation (SABMiller)

The International Business Ethics Case Competition is the premier international competition of its kind. It is essentially a "business presentation" competition and the team has to illuminate the financial, legal and ethical dimensions of a selected problem, and to recommend a solution (or analyze how a corporation handled a situation). 

IBECC

A US$3.3 billion project to expand the Kitimat Works aluminium smelter increasing the output tonnage up to 420,000 tons annually for Rio Tinto Alcan Inc., the global leader of aluminium mining and production.

Worked as engineer in the Civil and Structure group. Responsibilities included:

- inter-discipline and inter-office coordination
- resolving queries from site

Kitimat Modernization Project, British Columbia, Canada

My responsibilities included study of the basic financial structure of a solar photovoltaic
system project, and identification of an optimal pricing and revenue stream. It would then serve as a basis for the comparison of a solar PV unit using the tool developed as part of our project, with the cost of a conventional project.
