The objective of the project was to make an application (Client) which would send clients validated xml files over a secure channel to a remote app server (Node), where further processing was to be done.  This application enabled the end-client to use his custom data for the applications subscribed by it. If any error occurred during the process it was logged into Jira issue logging system (Error Manager). OpenVpn is being used as a point to point secure channel and various hashing algorithms used to detect integrity of the transfer. States of transfers from client to server is maintained in internal database (Apache derby database) only after successful transfer.

Cameron was an application development project that included the development of a product for management of different types of ‘risk lists’ maintained internally by an organization, externally published by other sources (e.g. federal agencies) and generated by users on an ad-hoc basis. The product provides a utility to produce list scanning, or ‘Match Analysis’ reports based on string matches found amongst list data, or ‘objects’ according to match rules specified. The product also provides a utility to graph simple relationships between 2 lists based on text comparisons, and the relationships are graphed using a radial layout engine. 
Additionally, the product can produce the same type of  relationship graph by enhancing data using external context sources.

Eagar is a R&D project for development of a pure Java-based distributed stream processing engine. In the ‘Eagar’ engine, a collection of continuous queries is submitted to ‘Eagar’ and is effectively defined as one giant network of operators (aka query diagram) whose processing is distributed to multiple sites. Stream processing engines such as ‘Eagar’ are utilized for processing continuous data from sources such as sensor networks, or financial market data.

Within an executive dashboard, statistics and data for the company as a whole can be closely monitored by the people who need to know.

Langley

Meadeview is designed as website to be utilized by those within the Risk profession to perform risk related research. It is primarily a news and documents aggregator, and also provides various  risk lists hosted from the application. The application’s primary and secondary features are identified below:

1. News Aggregation Service: Using Apache Lucene/Nutch, the application is  designed to determine RSS feeds at a number of provided web sites, and then uses those RSS feeds to display news related to pre-configured searches 

2. Document Aggregation Service: Using Apache Lucene/Nutch, the application crawls a number of provided web sites, and then returns text based documents which are contained on those sites. The application utilizes the LingPipe component in conjunction with the Prefuse graphing library to determine significant phrases within a document; and graph significant phrases across documents within the application.

3. List Hosting Service: The application provides users specified lists which are uploaded into the site by an administrator.

4. Content Indexing and Searching : All the content generated by News as well as Document aggregation would further feed to the Katta Shards for distributed Lucene indexes, later used for lighting fast searching.

It is a one of the component of the AML framework that enables centralized control, and coordination of informational messages generated by AML applications intended for distribution to end-users.

SunflowerCIP

The project includes development of a product for the surveillance of alerts generated by the data mining applications. The product assists investigators to walk through alerts to cases in a specific workflow and to generate required documents (‘Referrals’) for further investigation to be done by an external or government authority. The product also manages investigation objects and provides materialized view (Radial Layout) of the relationships identified between different data objects in the system.
