Worked primarily on metadata integration within Atlan's metadata catalogue platform.

- Developed and maintained integrations with various SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks) and BI tools (Mode, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
- Created an end-to-end migration tool to seamlessly transition customers from Atlan's 1.0 product to 2.0, ensuring the transfer of all user-enriched metadata.
- Maintained the functionality of existing internal services, including Query Gateway, Integration framework, and API Servers, as well as libraries for both 1.0 and 2.0 products. Technologies used included Golang, Python, and Java/Kotlin.
- Constructed a framework and related services for Preflight Checks, resulting in a 30% reduction in workflow failure rates and customer ticket volume.

Backend Engineer Intern

- Architected and built advanced integrations for Atlan's metadata marketplace across various source types, including MongoDB, QlikSense (Cloud and Windows), Kafka, Redpanda, Hive, Glue, Azure Event Bus, and Confluent Schema Registry.

- Developed parsers for Glue, Hive, and QlikSense to increase the range of extracted metadata and establish end-to-end lineage across sources.

- Architected and built a standard framework for BI and NoSQL integrations, which has become the go-to standard within the organisation. This improvement enhanced the ease of testing, reduced employee onboarding time, and facilitated the establishment of run-books for L1 support teams, resulting in a 90% reduction in time to resolution.

- Maintained and expanded the breadth of existing integrations, focusing on supporting various authentication types, extending the range of available metadata, optimizing runtime, and enabling the consumption of nested data structures in the platform. Integrations included Glue, 

Software Engineer - I

Authored a cross-platform HTTP package backed by Chromium’s network stack (cronet), having 100+ GitHub stars, under the supervision of Google's Dart & Chromium team.

- This bought HTTP/3 QUIC, better caching, network switching etc.
- The library can deliver 2 times more speed than the standard library in highly parallel workloads.
- Worked with Chrome’s and Dart Virtual Machine’s internals to bind them together.

<p>- Currently, I am focusing on the scalability and stability of our integrations and pipeline orchestration platform—Argo. This effort has elevated our overall SLA from 92% to 97% and significantly diminished orchestrator-caused disruptions by 99%.

- Engaged in enhancing observability and instrumentation for our existing integrations to achieve greater visibility and metrics. Additionally, I contributed to the development of our centralized observability solutions.

- Enabled proactive solutions to customer issues and bugs based on the new alerting and instrumentation platform. The majority of customer issues were resolved even before they were noticed by the end user, increasing customer satisfaction.

- Contributed to the maintenance of our new popularity feature in the product using Spark for efficient analysis of millions of queries across the data assets of customers.</p>
