I am an Assistant Operator at a industrial diesel plant on my island. I am responsible for starting, stopping, inspecting all diesel engines on the station. My job extends to writing and reporting defects, immediate response to keep system frequency and system balanced. It also extends to working on 11kv and 33kv switch gear breaker systems to carry out switching schedules that are operations based.
