Team Lead, Venture Fellow

Initiated and managed freelance design projects spanning various industries, overseeing end-to-end responsibilities including business development, project delivery, client relationship management, etc. 

Notable clients include: 
- TheStreet, a financial news and financial literacy website founded by Jim Cramer, for their iOS mobile app redesign.
- Position USA, a South America-based apparel startup specializing in lifting shoes, for their main e-commerce website.
- Ascend Presentation, a Singapore presentation consultancy, for their marketing page design.
- Other projects include a SaaS platform for real-estate agents, a form builder web app, and an administration platform for social event organizers.

UI/UX Designer

Haven Technologies is a NYC-based insurance technology platform for life, annuity, and disability insurance carriers, wholly owned and independent subsidiary of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). 

Led the ideation, design, and development of a SAAS insurance policy administration platform, one of the core products as the product owner. Promoted to this position after delivering successful performance as Senior UX Designer from 2018 – 2020.

My key achievements included:

- Pioneered new tool innovation and design from 0 to 1, including data quality tool, insurance product pricing tool, and the SAAS platform. Secured lead designer position for three different products within two years. Received CEO's Special Recognition Award.
- Led cross-functional teams in designing the company's inaugural SaaS insurance claims platform, reducing claims cycle time by 60%, achieving a 15-fold increase in claims payout, and attaining a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 94%.

Product Owner

Led UX design efforts at Accenture Interactive, catering to Fortune 500 companies in the New York region based on unique business differentiators, providing creative customization and user experience design.

My key achievements included:

- Conceptualized the redesign of the NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center website. This design significantly contributed to winning the project among more than ten competing bids. As the sole UX designer, collaborated across teams to independently overhaul information architecture, user workflows, and overall experience design.
- Led the design of an open advertising platform for media industry clients. The platform integrated viewership data from different television networks for distributors, brands, and publishers could swiftly target desired consumer segments. In 2021 alone, this platform achieved media purchases exceeding $75 million.

Product Designer

Pioneering user-centric design processes as the organization's first and sole UX designer. Led initiatives encompassing user research, strategic planning, interaction design, and information architecture for news websites serving 12 affiliate institutions.

My key achievements included:

- Proposed the implementation of a waterfall browsing mode after in-depth analysis of user behavior data. The redesign resulted in a 2x increase in page loading speed and a 270% boost in slideshow views.
- Addressed the excessive options in the news page sharing module. Rapidly translated these findings into action through the design of quick wireframes and user testing, achieving a 160% increase in daily active users upon module deployment. Enhanced user Net Promoter Score (NPS) by 40%.
