Served for eight years on the board of CorStone as Treasurer. CorStone is a US-based non-profit that develops and provides personal resilience programs to improve well-being for youth worldwide, focusing on adolescent girls as critical change-agents in their communities. CorStone’s evidence-based programs have demonstrated significant and well-documented impacts on girls’ mental and physical health, self-efficacy, self-advocacy for health and educational rights, and prevention of early marriage. Presently, CorStone works primarily in India. CorStone’s funders include Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, and Nike Foundation…all global leaders in women’s and girls’ health and education.
