Vault CMS

I started a YouTube channel in 2010 and have created various tech and video game-related content, building up an audience of over 24,000 subscribers with over 7,000,000 views across my 150+ uploaded videos.

In 2021, I created "Elevated: The Development Story of Super Smash Bros. Melee," a documentary which covers the development of the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series of games created by Masahiro Sakurai and HAL Laboratory in conjunction with Nintendo. I premiered the video on May 1st, 2021 and it's available to watch for free on YouTube, with a runtime of 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 18 seconds. It received 60,000 views within the first month after it was published.

I spent a week or so researching and compiling relevant media from 2001, and about 3 weeks recording B-roll, editing, and producing the video until it was finished on May 1st. I took one 8-hour period on a Saturday to write the script, and 5 revisions of the video until I was satisfied with the end product.

YouTube Channel

Founded and established family-friendly online broadcasting team, Family Friendly Live.® A group of Twitch streamers and content creators, we aim to provide the most accessible live streams on the web. We combine a friendly atmosphere with abstaining from using profanity to create a welcoming environment for viewers. A go-to place to watch streams during your work break or while at home with your family. 

Our team comprises a wide variety of creators with a diverse set of content to enjoy, and have amassed 150,000+ followers across each creator.

Family Friendly Live®

I created one place for all Super Smash Bros. Melee open source tools for both playing and creating content for the game. Essentially it's a hub for all of the amazing resources the Melee community has created, and includes guides on how to utilize each of them.

DIY marketing course for content creators on a budget. In this video course I share all of the free (or extremely cheap) marketing tools available to content creators to grow their brands.

Cheap Marketing Video Course

I was the founder and manager of a Super Smash Bros. fansite and community Smash Bros. Legacy. We shared all sorts of Smash Bros. content on a variety of social media channels including free-to-play not-for-profit fan mods. I personally held leadership roles within multiple projects, including Legacy TE and Legacy XP mods. Experience involves selecting team members based on desired qualities, role and task delegation, organizing and executing meetings, working in a multi-regional group in a variety of time zones, collaboration with other team members to create content, schedule social media posts for content updates, create video trailers to promote team projects, and project management for complex development tasks. Involved light development and work with 3D modeling programs 3DS Max + Blender, creating textures with Adobe Photoshop and Gimp, custom sounds and audio with Audacity, and experience with some community-made tools specific to modding Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Smash Bros. Legacy

I cohosted a podcast about Microsoft in the mobile space. My cohost Vernon E. L. Smith and I discussed a wide range of topics including Windows, Lumia, Surface, and even Microsoft services as they exist on iOS, Android, and other platforms. We occasionally have high profile guests like key Microsoft leaders and industry experts. The show was edited and produced by Kevin Harvell.

MS Mobile Show

Immediately after publishing a book, I launched a podcast with the same name. Branded as "The Social Media Practitioner's Podcast," I go into depth on social media platform best-practices. A unique component of the show is, while recording, I broadcasted to 7 different live streaming services simultaneously.
