I built Mochi because standard Pomodoro timers often feel too rigid and robotic. I wanted a quiet, companion-like interface on my screen that feels alive without interrupting my flow. What it does:• Deep Focus: A 25-minute timer where Mochi reads alongside you. If you click on it, it gently asks not to be disturbed.• Breathwork: A 3-minute guided breathing routine with expanding animations and 432Hz sine tones to help reset between tasks.• Zen Mode (F): Drops into a minimal fullscreen view where controls fade away while you work.• Keyboard-first: Toggle with Space, switch modes with 1-2-3, and mute with M.Everything is packed into a single self-contained file using vanilla JavaScript, Tailwind, and native Web Audio API (no external sound files or trackers).

OverviewSyntro is an interactive, zero-config data pipeline architecture showcase designed for modern developer tooling. It bridges high-density technical telemetry with intuitive, tactile micro-interactions.The interface demonstrates how complex backend mechanisms - data scrubbing, schema unification, and traffic spike management - can be communicated with cognitive clarity and zero fluff.Key Architectural Components→ Fig 01 // Inline Scrubber (99.98% Pure): Function: In-flight filter stripping broken JSONs, null fields, and duplicate keys. Outcome: Enables querying production-ready tables immediately without brittle regex scripts.→ Fig 02 // Auto-Mapper (Zero Drift): Function: Dynamic routing engine unifying webhooks, CSVs, and REST payloads into strict typing. Outcome: Onboards new data sources in seconds without maintaining glue code.→ Fig 03 // Surge Buffer (Auto-Shunt): Function: Adaptive pressure-valve routing sudden event bursts into elastic dead-letter queues. Outcome: 100% throughput reliability during peak traffic surges without dropped events or DB locks.Design & Interaction Details→ Dual Theme Architecture: Instant palette toggle between `#FF5600 Industrial Orange` and `#2563EB Electric Blue`.→ Tactile Feedback: Custom reactive gauges, scrubbers, and needle animations that respond to real-time state emulation.→ Minimalist Aesthetic: High-contrast data layout inspired by industrial hardware control surfaces.Feedback on the UX, micro-interactions, and visual density is always welcome!

Syntro — Zero-Config Pipeline Architecture

Most DTC supplement landing pages fail not because of product efficacy, but due to cognitive distrust and decision paralysis. When presented with generic claims, the brain’s Prefrontal Cortex goes into critical evaluation mode—increasing bounce rates.Focura is a concept landing page engineered around System 1 processing, behavioral economics, and cognitive friction reduction.
⚡ Behavioral Architecture & Stack
Hero Section (Primitive Triggering): Loss-Framed Hook: "Don't let your mind shut down at 3 PM" directly triggers loss aversion in the reptilian brain.Gaze Cueing & Visual Salience: Directing visual focal points straight toward the physical product to guide unconscious eye tracking.Ownership Framing: Replaced generic "Buy Now" with an low-friction ownership CTA: "Start my 30-day ritual".Social Proof & Mirror Neuron Simulation: Situational Anchoring: Timestamped micro-proof (3:47 PM crash context) triggers relatable mental simulation.Sub-Second Cognitive Processing: High-contrast comparison tables X / ✔ semantics) semantics) processed in <1 second by System 1.Pain-of-Paying Mitigation (Insula Cortex Optimization):Price Laddering: Coherent tier framing ($24 → $22 → $18) coupled with a $72 strikethrough reference anchor.Reframing: Micro-chunking total cost down to "$0.60/day" to neutralize the psychological pain response of spending money.Attention & Cognitive Load Management:Strict single-trigger hierarchy per viewport. Context-aware auto-hiding sticky bar to eliminate visual noise at critical decision points.
🧪 Testable Growth Hypotheses
H1 (Gaze Cueing): Aligning visual directional cues with product hero increases CTA click-through rate (+15–20%).H2 (Anchor Framing): High initial reference strikethrough price increases total order value (+10–15% AOV).H3 (Cognitive Fluency): Binary visual semantics accelerate scroll depth directly into pricing tiers.H4 (Trigger De-duplication): Suppressing secondary sticky CTAs during the final checkout stage reduces decision fatigue.Every data point, price point, and micro-copy on the page is mathematically and biologically aligned; keeping System 2's "lie detector" completely calm.#Neuromarketing #Biopsychology #CRO #BehavioralDesign #LandingPage #DTC #UIUX #Figma

Focura: Neuro-Optimized Landing Page

Most landing page reviews focus on copy, UI, or aesthetics. I wanted to look at something different.Instead of asking "Does this page look good?", I asked: "How does the visitor's brain process each section during the first few seconds?"
The Project
I dissected a neuro-optimized D2C landing page (Droplet) section by section through a neuromarketing lens — mapping the psychological job each component performs, from attention capture and cognitive fluency to trust formation, risk reduction, and decision acceleration.
What's Inside

Gaze Cueing & Attention Capture — How faces and eye direction in the hero visual subconsciously guide attention to the headline.

Pain Diagnosis — Why visceral verbs like "melt away" trigger instant relief visualization in the Old Brain.

CTA Psychology — Reward-framed CTAs and gamified 30-sec quizzes that cut cognitive friction.

Cognitive Fluency — Icon-based badges that let the brain scan value props with zero effort.

Risk Reversal — Micro-copy that silences the amygdala's "Pain of Paying" at the decision moment.

Social Proof Framing — Role-based testimonials and outcome metrics ("14,200+ Calm Days Delivered") balancing emotional trust with rational proof.

Authority Building — Certifications, clinically studied ingredients (KSM-66 Ashwagandha) and expert endorsements that turn claims into credible proof.

Why It Matters
Every block on a high-converting page has a purpose beyond looking polished. If you're building landing pages for SaaS, AI, or D2C products, this breakdown gives you a reusable neuro-framework to audit and optimize your own pages.Disciplines applied: Neuromarketing • Behavioral Psychology • CRO • UX Writing • Cognitive Science

The Old Brain Buys: Neuro-Optimized Teardown

Executive Summary
Vegetology is a UK-based direct-to-consumer (DTC) vegan supplement brand. This case study breaks down a comprehensive landing page redesign anchored in consumer neuroscience, decision psychology, and CRO principles derived from Renvoisé & Morin, Phil Barden, and Roger Dooley. The objective: Eliminate subconscious cognitive friction, shift user processing from slow System 2 to fast System 1 (Autopilot), and stimulate the Old Brain for immediate conversion.Scientifically Diagnosed Friction PointsThrough heuristic evaluation and psychological scanning analysis, 6 critical cognitive barriers were identified on the original landing page:1. Self-Centered Framing (Old Brain Failure): The original hero headline featured "A team of scientists striving for excellence...". The Old Brain is egocentric; talking about the brand instead of solving the customer's immediate pain fails to answer "What’s in it for me?" in the first 3 seconds.2. Missing Emotional Connection & Gaze Direction: Lifeless product bottles alone failed to trigger implicit goals (vitality, energy, peace of mind). Lacked human visual priming to guide eye movement toward the primary action point.3. System 2 Overload: Heavy reliance on rational claims ("Certified", "Independently tested") overwhelmed the analytical brain without triggering intuitive System 1 purchase impulses.4. Action Procrastination: Product cards used " Find out more" CTAs instead of direct conversion actions, adding unnecessary cognitive steps.5. Uncertainty in Pricing & Loss Aversion: "From £13.99" pricing created subconscious hesitation. Trust guarantees were buried far down the page.6. Hidden Social Proof: Star ratings existed but lacked a prominent visual anchor in the immediate fold.Applied Neuromarketing Architecture & Solutions1. Neuro-Optimized Hero Section (Old Brain Trigger)* Egocentric Copywriting: Shifted headline to focus directly on customer pain: "Don't Compromise on Your Energy and Health While on a Vegan Diet!"* Visual Priming & Eye-Tracking: Positioned an energetic human face whose gaze is directed straight toward the primary CTA button, leveraging natural human eye-following behavior.* Immediate Anchor: Placed a concrete social proof banner ("Rated 4.9/5 by 100,000+ Happy Vegans") right at the top fold.2. Pain of Paying & Framing (Roger Dooley - Brainfluence)* Daily Cost Reframing: Replaced abstract unit prices with micro-cost framing: "Complete nourishment for just £0.46 a day" to soothe the brain's pain center (insula).* Risk Reversal Placement: Moved the "90-Day Money-Back Guarantee" badge directly adjacent to the CTA to eliminate purchase friction at the moment of decision.3. The Contrast Principle (Renvoisé & Morin)* Bio-Active vs. Synthetic Table: Designed a stark side-by-side contrast matrix highlighting biological superiority (e.g., Lichen-derived bio-identical D3 vs. Lanolin sheep's wool grease, Active Methylcobalamin vs. Synthetic Cyanocobalamin) The Old Brain makes decisions through clear contrast.4. Narrative & Emotional Transformation Structure shifts from logical features to real customer journeys (From Depletion to Dynamic Vitality), addressing subconscious anxiety around absorption and plant-based nutrition.Primary Goal: Transform high-bounce landing page visitors into confident, long-term brand advocates through science-backed UX architecture.Frameworks Used: System 1/2 Decision Science, SalesBrain 6 Stimuli, Brainfluence Micro-Copy, Contrast Principle, Figma, Gamma.
