<p class="leading-6">During my time as a Senior Help Desk Technician, I had to support customers in a multi-operating system environment, including managing the server infrastructure, assisting with large-scale roll-out projects, responding to alerts through our Nagios monitoring system, and providing face-to-face and over the phone support. It was a job of balance, ensuring SLAs were maintained, helping our customers to have an issue free experience. It required strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with customers and team members.</p>

Help Desk Specialist

Support on a multi-customer environment, designing and deploying new customer systems on an IBM Power System S822. In my current role it is my responsibility to deploy new IBM iSeries systems based on customer specification. This may include tape restores of their current systems to migrate over. I also have UNIX duties in a small team of 3, and this includes deploying new virtual UNIX/Linux machines, supporting disk space and performance issues as well as end user login issues.
