Founder of Vepathos. Building large-scale last-mile route optimization, APIs, and automated delivery planning.

martin vizzolini • Peerlist

Built a large-scale last-mile routing system capable of generating full fleet plans from thousands up to ~1M delivery stops in minutes on commodity hardware. The architecture focuses on solving routing as a single coherent planning problem while handling real operational constraints such as capacity, time windows, and route limits. Validated on the public Amazon Last Mile Routing Research Challenge dataset.

Researched and developed a mathematical trading strategy using dual-algorithm logic for financial markets. The approach combines trend detection with volatility filtering to optimize buy/sell decisions based on historical price data. Technologies used: Python, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib Topics covered: Backtesting, Quantitative Analysis, Financial Algorithms

Vepathos is a free online route planner designed for last-mile delivery operations. It empowers businesses to efficiently manage their delivery fleets by allowing users to upload stops, optimize routes, and visualize driver paths on an interactive map. The platform offers a free plan, requiring no credit card, making it accessible for businesses of all sizes.

Key Features:

Multi-stop route optimization: Plan balanced delivery routes across your entire fleet without fixed zones or artificial scaling limits.

Interactive route map: Visualize all stops and routes on a dynamic map for clear overview and management.

Fleet catalog: Define capacity and stop limits for different vehicle types (trucks, vans, bicycles).

Automated rebalancing: Routes are automatically rebalanced to ensure optimal distribution of stops.

Flexible import options: Upload stops from CSV, Excel, or pasted text. Supports order connectors for Mercado Libre, Shopify, and Tiendanube.

Driver-ready route export: Easily share optimized routes with drivers via a link.

T-P4T0 Dispatch Copilot: Plan routes directly from a chat message, streamlining the dispatch process.

Automations: Set up schedules to re-optimize saved plans automatically.

AI Integration: Features an MCP server for integration with AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.

Free plan available: Start optimizing with no credit card required.

Workflow:

Import: Load addresses and packages in bulk from various file formats or directly from connected stores.

Fleet: Configure your fleet with capacity and vehicle mix, defining limits for each vehicle type.

Configure & Run: Set time windows and balance routes. Review and compare configurations before optimizing.

Share Routes: Send a link to the driver and track deliveries live on the map.

Scalability:
Vepathos is built to handle operations of any scale, from a few stops to tens of thousands in a single run. The engine plans the entire day at once, without manual zoning, ensuring efficient routing regardless of volume.

Developer Friendly:
Build on the same engine with the Vepathos API. Integrate with your TMS, WMS, or marketplace. The MCP server allows routing from AI agents.
