Takrab Initiative

Takrab is an environment club of high school students at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School. The club is dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of the community around them. We reached out to people, doing surveys door-to-door of over 200+ households following a systematic methodology. This project was selected as India's representative project to be presented at the COP21 summit in Paris. It was also the winning project of International Youth Climate Summit 2015, a national-level environmental science competition.
